Who or What Am I? Bible Game
In A Nutshell
In this Bible game, children will need to rely on the knowledge they already have about Biblical characters.
Ages
Elementary, Tweens, Teens
Number of Players
Two or more.
What You Will Need
- 1 index card for each child
Preparation
General: Write the names of Biblical characters on index cards. One name per card per child.
Christmas: Write the names of items related to the birth of Christ on index cards. One name per card per child.
Ex: Jesus, Baby, Mary, Joseph, Angel, Wise Men, Shepherds, Star, Stable, Manger, Bethlehem, Donkey, Gabriel, Sheep, etc.
Instructions
Without children seeing the cards, tape one to the back of each player. Children try to figure out their identity by asking others questions that can be answered with a "yes" or "no".
Example: Am I a Man? Am I a Christian? Am I in the Old Testament? Did I build a boat? Am I Noah?
Once a player has figured out their identity, they remove the card from their back and place it on their chest. Play continues until all children have guessed their identity.
Extras
This works for groups of all ages, even mixed groups. For smaller children, be sure to give them easier characters like Noah, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, David, Adam, etc. With a little imagination, this game can be tailored to other themes such as: The last days of Jesus, or The Twelve Disciples.
