What You Will Need
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-2/3 c. all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl and set aside. Mix butter, margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla until creamy. Alternately add small amounts of dry ingredients then sour cream to the mixture, until all has been combined. Divide dough into three portions. Roll out on well-floured work surface to 1/4" thickness. Dust cookie cutter with flour, then use to cut cookies. We recommend a 2-3" diameter cookie cutter. Place cookies on lightly greased baking sheet or sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until lightly brown, 8-10 minutes for a delicious, soft cookie. Do not over-bake.

- 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoons light corn syrup

- Food color
- Sprinkles (optional)
Combine ingredients. Beat at medium speed until smooth, adding additional milk if necessary, to reach desired glazing consistency. Tint with food color, if desired.
Ice cookies. Decorate with sprinkles.
Yield: 30 three inch cookies
