Flubber Recipe

What You Will Need
- 1-1/2 cups warm water
- 2 cups white Elmer’s Glue
- Food coloring
- 1-1/3 cups water
- 3 teaspoons Borax detergent
Directions
In a large container combine:
- 1-1/2 cups warm water
- 2 cups white Elmer’s Glue
- Food coloring
In second bowl combine:
- 1-1/3 cups water
- 3 teaspoons Borax detergent
Mix ingredients in each container thoroughly. Pour contents of smaller container into large container. Gently lift and turn mixture until only about 1 tablespoon liquid is left. Flubber will be sticky for a moment or two. Let excess water drip off and it’s ready. Keeps in airtight container for about 3 weeks.
Extras
This is a great item to have on hand for any age group, but it is sometimes hard to wash out of fabric and carpets. Use paint shirts for small children. Flubber will store for some time in baggies, so I like to divide it up into small sandwich bags and let the children take home with them. Write “Flubber: Do Not Put In Mouth” on the baggie.
