Playdough Recipe
In A Nutshell
Home made play dough is softer and easier to work with than the store-bought versions. Make a batch ahead and it will last for several weeks.

What You Will Need
- 7 cup flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- Tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 Tablespoons cream of tartar
- 1 cup water
- Food coloring
Directions
Mix all ingredients in saucepan. Cook 3 minutes or until the dough leaves the sides of the pan. Knead until soft. Store in plastic bowl or Ziplock bag.

If you’ve never made your own play dough, give this easy recipe a try. Because of the great consistency, you’ll never go back to the store-bought type. We use play dough with school-age children when we do a lesson on Noah. Have them make two of as many animals as they can think of, then line them up on the table.
