We had so much fun decorating with The Amazing Time Machine VBS theme! From beakers filled with neon liquids, a science lab and tie-dyed lab coats, to best of all, the Amazing Time Machine itself with blinking lights and fog that rolls out when the door opens. With the ideas we provide you can decorate as little or as much as you want and with any size budget. We have included templates and patterns for backdrops for each themed area including:
Welcome Center: This is for registering all new junior scientists and assigning them to the appropriate lab group.
Scientific Central: This is your main assembly area or sanctuary and is designed to look like a science lab.
Time Machine Bible Stories: Each day the children get an opportunity to travel back to Biblical Times as part of their scientific research to DISCOVER GOD. This area is decorated according to the Bible story being taught—Garden of Eden, Moses in the dessert, birth of Christ, the crucifixion and the empty tomb.
Time Portal This is the entry to your Biblical Times. It may be a hall or stairwell or a small area as you enter the Bible Story area.
Lab Crafts, Nuclear Games, Atomic Cafe and The Acoustic Chamber will all be decorated with a scientific - space theme.
