Beard Costume
In A Nutshell
This beard costume pattern make a quick and easy way to dress up your program. It also helps when girls need to play the part of men.

What You Will Need
- Beard Mustache Template (See Downloads below).
- Brown Fake fur or thick felt
- 8” of 1/4” black elastic
- Brown thread
- Sewing machine or needle if hand sewing
- Scissors
Fabric Glue
Directions
- Print the Beard Mustache Template
- Cut out templates.
- Cut templates out of felt
- Glue mustache on top
- Sew elastic where XXXX indicated on template. You can either sew this on a machine or hand sew.
Extras
This makes a cute beard and works for all ages. One of our editors tells the story of putting on a Easter play and half of her children did not show up. The remaining actors had to double up parts. One little girl played the part of a bearded old man. After a quick shave, and costume change, she came back on stage as a mother of five.
