Snowball Talents Bible Game
In A Nutshell
A fast-paced fun snowball battle game that reinforces the lesson about using our talents for God. This can also be used as a challenge game.
Ages
Elementary, Tweens, Teens
Number of Players
4 or more
What You Will Need
- Sheets of paper (collect old photo copies or paper going to the trash)
- Pen or pencil
Instructions
- Explain that like a snowflake, God made us all unique with special talents that He wants us to use for His glory. Challenge each child to think of their own individual talents and how they can use them for God. They get a piece of paper (to make a snowball) for each talent. Have them write the talent on the paper along with how they plan to use it for God.
- Divide the children into two teams.
- Send teams to opposite sides of the room.
- The game is more fun if there are tables, chairs, etc. to hide behind.
- On the word “Go” the children throw snowballs at the opposing team. If a team member is hit, they must leave their snowballs and switch to the other team. They can pick up snowballs on their way across the room.
- The game is over when all players end up on the same team.
Extras
A big snowball battle can be an incentive for several different classes. Kids can collect snowballs for each challenge they meet. You can do things like have them memorize Bible verses, volunteer to say the prayer, do clean up after class, etc. The more challenges they meet, the more snowballs they get at the start the battle.
